Kelsius is recruiting for the role of IT Support Technician. You will be responsible for supporting Kelsius customers and their IT departments to provide technical support for Kelsius products and services. You will be responsible for maintaining in-house systems and provide assistance to computer users by answering questions, resolving technical problems and maintaining the company’s network, software and computer equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Kelsius staff and engineers
  • Liaise with customers and their IT departments to provide technical support for Kelsius solutions
  • In house systems maintenance, patching and repair
  • Data backup management
  • Setting up and testing new products
  • Application and services setup & maintenance
  • Automation of business processes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar type of role
  • 3rd Level technical qualification
  • Have strong organisational skills and demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Have the ability to produce written reports and documentation
  • Support a “can do” culture in terms of responding to customer needs
  • Highly driven with enthusiasm to meet targets and to cope under demanding pressure
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to both, work of own initiative and as part of a team
  • Be technically inclined and demonstrate the ability to grasp and retain technical product concepts and display a strong technical knowledge
  • Ability to identify the root cause of faults and technical issues
  • Have good knowledge and ability in various areas of technology

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our expanding and dynamic team. You will work closely with the Commercial Director, Sales & Marketing Manager and wider sales team and be responsible for advancing business development, meeting annual sales targets and growing business in the UK butchers and food manufacturers industry.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, close and maximise business sales to grow revenues, profit and market share.
  • Growing the UK butchers and food manufacturers vertical of the Kelsius business.
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Build effective relationships with key influencers and decision makers to help leverage future business activity.
  • Generate new leads and pursue qualified leads.
  • Manage customer data aligned to assigned accounts.
  • Report feedback and results as directed by management.

Essential Criteria

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the UK butchers and food manufacturers sector.
  • Experience selling to large butchers and food manufacturers companies.
  • Experience selling SAAS.
  • A proven track record in sales in the stated market.
  • Relevant third level degree or equivalent is desirable.
  • Understanding of sales data – skills to interpret sales trends, handle collection, collation and use of data to assist in account and territory analysis/planning.
  • Knowledge and experience in tender submissions.
  • Strong technical and computer literacy; skilled in the use of tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to ensure you can engage effectively with all customers as well as management and colleagues.
  • Full clean driving licence.

 Job Requirements

This position requires extensive travel within Ireland and the UK. Kelsius is open to applicants based anywhere in the UK.

Kelsius helps Tesco Ireland reduce food waste

Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, 9 May 2023 – Irish technology company Kelsius, based in Falcarragh, Co Donegal has signed a contract with Tesco Ireland to help the retailer ensure efficiencies across some of its cold storage.

Kelsius’ wireless temperature monitoring systems monitor the temperature of standalone fridges, freezers 24 hours a day. This allows Tesco to ensure that it only provides the finest quality foods to its customers by ensuring that fridges and freezers are maintained at the correct temperature.

The Kelsius system alerts the retailer to any temperature excursions, thus eliminating food waste that can occur due to fridge or freezer failure.

The agreement between Kelsius and Tesco will see the technology introduced across 112 Tesco stores.

Tesco has led the way amongst retailers in Ireland, in eliminating food waste and driving sustainable retailing. Kelsius’ technology ensures that no food is wasted and eliminates CO2 emissions from that waste.

Kelsius employs 82 people and manufactures specialist temperature monitoring equipment and software and provides global customer support from Falcarragh.
